Homework Explaining the Section

Today in class, we went over the Demographic Transition Chart and we took done many noted.

Pagraph for homework- I read that In Europe, North America, and Japan growth declined as countries became increasingly industralized and urbanized. From this historical data, demographers generted the demorgraphic transition model, a four-stage conceptualization that tracks changes in birthrates and death rates through time as a population urbanizes. Death rates fall dramtically in stage 2 while irthrates remain high, producing a rapid rise in RNI. In both historical and modern times, the decrease in deathrates is usually associated withthe devolpment of public health measures and modern medicane. For many professionals, the demographic transition model is a resonable predictor of where and when we can except popualtion growth rates to slow in the devolping world. The demographic transiton concept is a useful tool for organizing information about the vast diffrence in birthrates and death rats found around the world.
